Nick Dragotta is an American comic book artist, that worked for companies such as Marvel, DC, Image Comics and many more.

He is the illustrator of “East of West”, a sci-fi western written by Jonathan Hickman.
The series was first announced by Image Comics in 2012 during New York Comic-Con and began publication the following year.
In 2014, “East of West” was nominated for an Eisner Award in the “Best Series” category, and Dragotta, for his work on the series, was nominated in the “Best Cartoonist” category.
The series concluded in 2019 with over 50 issues.






His first solo creator-owned work is “Ghost Cage” created with writer Caleb Goellner (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: New Animated Adventures), a sci-fi adventure about a walking weapon and an ordinary human teaming up to save humanity from terrorists.



He was also a longtime Marvel artist that worked on many different issues of “Fantastic Four” and “Spider-Man” as well as “X-Statix”, “X-Men” and “Captain America”.
He co-created the character of Miss America Chavez together with Joe Casey in the mini-series “Vengeance”.





He’s currently working at DC Comics on “Absolute Batman” together with Scott Snyder, a brand new universe where the Joker has all the knowledge, power and wealth and Bruce Wayne is a self-taught vigilante fighting crime in Gotham City.
