Ivan Bigarella is an Italian cartoonist born in Vicenza in 1984.

Ivan graduated from Liceo Artistico in Vicenza in 2004 and has always been influenced from an early age by the world of comics, picture books, and cartoons. In 2005 he decided to attend the humorous comics course at the Scuola del Fumetto in Milan to realize his dream of becoming a cartoonist. After school he began in the publishing world and after 12 years he received the opportunity to join the team working on Mickey Mouse.
He made his debut in No. 3374 of Mickey Mouse italian magazine “Topolino” with “Gastone sapiente per caso.”

In the past few years, he did work on some bande dessinées like “Ioutubeurs” (Soleil) and he became one of the most appreciated talents on Disney’s character, both on the Italian Magazine “Topolino”, and on international projects (Disney 100, and more).
He is the artist of “Unnatural: Bue Blood” (MIrka Andolfo’s Unnatural spin-off), and the main cover artist on “Duck Tales” at Dynamite.
